Picasso, van Gogh and Warhol may need some formidable competitors from an uncommon commune of artists.
Our pleasant native lion cubs, elephants and sea lions have been busy making inventive creations. They have been offered Thursday evening throughout an artwork present and public sale on the Buffalo Zoo.
The fundraiser was appropriately christened Artwork Gone Wild.
“The animals do paint all of the artwork,” defined Communications Supervisor Christian Dobosiewicz. “A few of our animals are taught to color with their fingers, with paint brushes, or they’ll stroll onto canvases, or we are able to take paw prints of their paws.
